Sometimes even the most daring can get a scare. But can it be because of some
thing we can't see? The following happened during a recent investigation. Listen as the investigator trys to interact with what is believed to be a child, and see and hear what happens. Pay attention to the sound at the end of the clip. And yeah, we apologize for laughing. (below)
When we can't tell exactly what happened, our next step is to try to prove it
either did or didn't happen. The next day, we went back to try to roll the ball, have it stop beside the wall after 8 seconds, and have a sound of it rolling around for 1.5 seconds, without the sound of a bump up against the wall. This is the results of that experiment. (below)
RTPS takes pride in the fact that we always evaluate the evidence, and take every step we can to try to prove or disprove everything "captured." During this investigation, a sound was heard on the digital voice recorder. In listening to the camcorder, the same sound was heard. The first clip is the camcorder footage. The investigator ahead of the camera is speaking the first part, followed by, well, you decide.
The following is the audio footage from the digital voice recorder in the above investigator's hands.
*Note: did you notice the difference in the volume of the sounds between the audio and the video?
