A Haunting at the Villa

River Town Paranormal Society would like to thank everyone once again for making our first ever events at the Villa Kathrine a success. The event started off slow on the first night but ended with a bang for the season on the 30th. What a fantastic group of interested individuals we had each night.
On the 17th, Nell and Tara were great sports while we hosted our very first event. No, everything did not go as smoothly as we wanted but our two guests made the evening spectacular. They were truly interested in the history of the Villa and of any spirits that may still roam the hallways there. It turns out that our first night at the Villa was when we came up with any evp evidence so we will post that to our site soon. Kae Blecha topped the night off with captivating our guests with her pictures and stories of her past experiences with paranormal activity. Mr. Metz seemed to be in agreement with all of this too.
Our second event on the 30th was packed with high energy and eager ghost hunters. By splitting into two groups we were able to experience the Villa from different points of view. This was really fun! It was great to host an event where everyone had a healthy respect for paranormal activity. I believe our guests poked into every nook and cranny of the Villa to debunk doors opening on their own and cold spots showing up from nowhere.
Again, Kae topped the night off in a gracious fashion explaining how a near death experience has brought paranormal activity threefold into her life. Through her it has touched our guests with documented experiences of paranormal activity. This helped them verify that their own personal experiences were really warranted, not just figments of their imaginations. Hopefully, all of our guests left the Villa happy and contented , it was confirmed that Kathrine did not hitch a ride home with any of our guests and is still quite happily living in the basement!
RTPS has had one investigation since the last event and will be hosting an investigation for a paranormal group from Springfield Il in November. After this we plan to take a hiatus to spend time with our much neglected families and to catch up on all the recordings we have captured. We have started collecting bits and pieces of evidence which we will begin posting to our site. It’s rumored that a new blooper’s page will be showing up soon and this particular investigator has had her fair share of those.
We hope you enjoy our website and please feel free to post comments. We honestly read everything and try to reply to all of our emails in a timely manner. Thanks again to all who attended our events, The Villa Kathrine, Mr Metz and the Friends of the Castle appreciate your support of this wonderful historical site.
